The Immaterial Shop !

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah the beneficent, the Merciful

I've often found way in a pretty complex statement that I devised myself: 'Either the reasons are too complex or there is no reason'. Many a times I was asked to elaborate my confusions and worries and I'll find refuge in that statement. How difficult is to speak out what your heart is feeling. There are so many feelings, confusions, attachments entangled into one another making the matters of the heart very complex.
There are people who give false impressions; they make their gaze look so innocent when they are so cruel from the inside. People are able to give a false impression of their love, but, what lies inside is sheer hatred. On the other hand there are many who don't posses the quality of expressing their care and love. Their inner beauty always remains hidden.
We see everyday selections based on results that are visible. People would select their life-partner on basis of beauty, status etc. Selections will be made for organizations and companies on the past results. People would value those who outshine others in these things, these visible things, and often the most beautiful people would be hidden. Very few would know their worth. People would love to stay with those who have some authority.
The real things are so concealed. Our body is there but the soul is hidden. We see this life, but the akhirah (hereafter) is veiled. We see the physical appearance but the love, care and sincerity are unseen. People! This is not a usual sermon. I am here to remind that like the way this world is temporary and the real world is about to come, still your efforts are for this very world. We know that a fair face has to fade, but a beautiful soul will last forever, but how many keep this in view when doing some selection. Similarly, we know that qualities that can be measured through results are important but there are some other things that are of way more importance; truth, sincerity etc but how many of us do really value them?
I wish I could make an immaterial shop. It will have a love-o-meter, a sincerity-meter, a truth-o-meter, an inner beauty calculator etc. I can tell all my loved ones. See! I told you I loved you, I cared for you, I was sincere to you, but you left me, thinking me a fraud, just because I couldn't express what was in my heart, and you were too blind to see it. All those who made fun of my emotions, I would show them what my heart was when they left me, through the heartoscopy.
People would come to me and would know that their 'love' was actually a fake and his love was only -20dbs. Many boys would know that their 'cool' girl friend has a 'witch' covering her heart. Company officials would come to me 'this person is eligible for our job as far as his academics are concerned; kindly give us his detailed personality reports'. I've spent my life with a mission to 'enter paradise', and I thought it would be possible only if I would make this world a 'paradise'. That was only possible if I could make the real things really matter. I had to reverse this materialistic culture and give people eyes to see the real beauty, to see the real truth. When people would put on the lens I develop their view of the world would change. So, why not make an immaterial shop.
Of course, these gadgets would have their own harms, because humans don't forget. They can't erase something from their mind totally. Still I wish to devise a love-o-meter, a sincerity tester, an inner beauty calculator. These would revolutionize the way people think. Things would change drastically. People would strive hard to develop inner beauty because now 'it matters'! Devising these gadgets is wishful thinking. But what can happen is that people come to know that it 'does matter'. On the Day of Judgment Allah will tell us everything we did. Even the tiniest of things would be mentioned. So, it 'does matter', only if we knew. When the veil is removed, we'll start seeing things in a much better way. We'll come to know what actually mattered. So, wake up, before you're too late. Change your lens, before your eyes are closed! Beautify your heart before it stops working!

WaALLAH... this is one of the most appealing and beautifull writing i have gone through.... mashaALLAH...

well, though human nature cant deny that people who leave ignoring our sincerety, brings a deep scar in our self, yet love is conditionless, what I believe is that you dont always have to prove 'See! I was fine, I was sincere with you...Its you wo doubted me!'... sometimes letting go, makes the both parts understand this life game...

either you judge the value rightly, or you are at loss!

Love-o-meter and other calculators, great inventions they would be, but WaALLAH i am loving HIM more now, there was a clear hikmah behind its absence, indeed its only HIM who knows the inner self and the hidden secrets....

It would have brought benefit but on the same grounds would have created a chaos... because somethings are MEANT to be HIDDEN....

and thats what I think!

Lovely Artile subhanaALLAH!

5 Starx! =)

Hmmmm....
The author of this article...Awais shb:)...told me last night that Hazrat Umer (May Allah be pleased with him)once said "The times of Prophet SAW is gone, Now Qias will be done on apparent deeds"....meaning that now there is no source of revelation so we will decide on what we see....

Now i read this article....its quite confusing...
I mean it is a gud article, but keeping in view your that narration, which i mentioned above, isn't it double standard....

you were the one telling me that now apparent deeds will be judged, and here you are writing about love-meters and etc...

Bro u hav got to explain this to me...the apparent conflict in two...

Dear Awais :)

You've taken me wrong. What I quoted you last night was the abridged version of this saying of Umer (RA):

People were (sometimes) judged by the revealing of a Divine Inspiration during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle but now there is no longer any more (new revelation). Now we judge you by the deeds you practice publicly, so we will trust and favor the one who does good deeds in front of us, and we will not call him to account about what he is really doing in secret, for Allah will judge him for that; but we will not trust or believe the one who presents to us with an evil deed even if he claims that his intentions were good. (Sahih Bukhari)

And the point I was making at that time was that when 'selecting' someone for some position :) you have to keep in mind what the person's public acts are. You just can't prefer a person who says his prayers over the one who has no care for Salah. These are the things which you'd have to take into account while judging one's piety. I am not saying that this judgement would be accurate, but you have no other option. It might happen that someone whom you judged as pious based on his actions be a hypocrite from the inside. But, it won't happen that someone who takes no care of the rulings of ALLAH SWT, violates the rules of modesty and hijab, takes no care of Salah, is very pious from the inside. That simply does not happen!!

By the way that has nothing to do with my article. My article is simply telling what utopia would be like :)...

a v.good article.
but as stated above, "somethings are MEANT to be HIDDEN" .. we should thank ALMIGHTY for that, because everytime you look into yourself you will find shortcommings (known to you only).
.
awais is good at putting his thoughts to word and i enjoy reading him cuz (for most of the part)i think the way he does.
.
JAZAKALLAH.
keep writing..

Nice article.

I would particularly like to comment on this line :
"See! I told you I loved you, I cared for you, I was sincere to you, but left me thinking me a fraud, just because I couldn't express what was in my heart, and you were too blind to see it. "

Many a times we want other people to understand us but its completely ok if they do not. It's ought to be that way. The so proposed love-o-meter does exist but we are not authorized to use it. Life and our feelings about a certain thing do not remain the same all the time. It is not fair that a lower score once proves to be fatal for our relationships. That's why Allah S.T kept the measurements of our deeds in His hands. He can take our mistakes and can forgive which in most cases impossible for humans.

The article reflects an inquisitive mind. Keep writing!

Some wishes are too good to be true..

Nevertheless, unique thoughts are beautifully penned down Mashallah..

And it reminds me of the soul-shaking ayah..

"Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. " ( Surah Zilzaal)

my comment wud be a bit different:-)the article reflects the thinking of the author, his felings, emotions and ideas and his urge for them 2 be understood and being a psychologist i wud say that he is very just to say so bcz as he says,'see i told you i loved you........and u were too blind to see it"i agree k hamare emotions, feelings n thoughts hote hain jinhe bht kam log samajhte hain, jnhe bht kam log jante hain,bt i can understand them awais wat ur trying to say the love-meter,sincerity calculator n everything.i wud simply say Allah aap ki is koshish ka silla de aap ko ameen :-)
